Membership in the Rotary Club of Victoria Garden City is an invitation to join a distinguished circle of professionals who believe that business acumen and service to humanity are not in conflict — they are complementary.

As a Rotarian, you will participate in weekly fellowship meetings, lead and contribute to impactful community service projects, access a global network of over 1.4 million members, and grow as a leader, a professional, and a human being.

How to Join

Your Path to Membership

Our process is thorough and designed to ensure an excellent fit for both you and the club. Here is what to expect from enquiry to induction.

Express Your Interest

Complete and submit the online membership application form, attend a fellowship as a guest by yourself or upon invitation by a club member. Prospective members are added to the club's guest platform.

Fellowship Attendance

Attend at least three weekly fellowship meetings, with a minimum of one in-person attendance. This gives you the opportunity to experience club activities and meet our members firsthand.

Membership Review

After your third fellowship, the Membership Chair will meet with you to obtain your profile and present it to the Membership Committee for review and consideration.

Committee Interview

You will be invited to an interview with the Membership Committee to discuss your background, professional experience, interests, and your desire to join Rotary.

Board Approval

Upon a favourable recommendation from the Membership Committee, your profile is forwarded to the Club Board of Directors for final consideration and approval.

Payment & Registration

Following Board approval, you will be required to pay the applicable membership dues and induction kit levy. Your details will then be submitted to Rotary International for registration.

Induction

The Club President will schedule your formal induction ceremony in one of the meetings, after which you will be officially welcomed as a full member of the Rotary Club of Victoria Garden City.
